Welcome!  Look here for opportunities to nurture your faith and the faith of your children.

Adult      Various opportunities for study and reflection are offered throughout the year. Topics will vary based on congregational need and leadership available. May include Bible study, devotions, movie discussions, theological themes.

Nursery     Our nursery provides safe and fun first experiences with coming to church for children 3 years old and younger. Childcare providers are available every Sunday during worship.  The Nursery is located on the lower level in the CE Building.

Church School     First Presbyterian offers church school classes for children age 4 through 6th grade on Sunday mornings during the worship hour. Classes run from September through mid-June.
  • Elementary students explore Old and New Testament stories of our faith using various mediums (art, drama, video, storytelling, games, etc.) Children start the morning in the sanctuary with their family at 10 a.m. and will leave together after the "children's time."
A page for parents, "In Church School...," (sent home or in the bulletin) will identify specific stories and learning objectives to help facilitate family discussion.
  • The fourth Sunday of every month is Family Sunday.   Family Sundays provide the opportunity for families to worship together.  Although there is no church school this day, children are still learning.  It is important for your children to see you worship and for them to be able to participate with you in worship.  They learn that worship is something we do together!
Church School classes will lead various parts of the worship service on each Family Sunday.
  • Jr. High classes will begin meeting as soon as possible.  This class will be student driven in regard to choosing our discussion topics.  The Bible, what we believe, discipleship, Jesus, what other's believe and, if all of that wasn't tough enough, we may even tackle some tough questions.  When the class is not meeting, Jr. High students are encouraged to attend worship.

Confirmation     Ninth grade students are invited to participate in a student-mentor model of exploring various aspects of Christian faith and life as they prepare to confirm their faith in Jesus Christ and their relationship with the church.   Register in the Fall.  Sessions begin in January.
